Contact usOn the occasion of Milano Design Week 2022, the collection will be presented at an event in collaboration with Aquazzura on 8 June at Chiostro Cappuccio and will be visible throughout the week in the window of the Officine Gullo showroom on Via dell’Annunciata.
Officine Gullo and Aquazzura continue the journey that unites their artistic souls, giving life to a capsule collection of hand-decorated freestanding kitchens, under the banner of creativity, art and design.
The cooking ranges were created and decorated entirely by hand in the Gullo “workshops”, drawing on the design created by Edgardo Osorio, Founder and Creative Director of the luxury footwear brand Aquazzura; an exotic motif characterised by flowers and animals from distant lands.
The precious metals of the cooking ranges, proposed in pastel pink and green tones, are thus combined with designs finely executed by skilled artisan hands, transforming the kitchens into true works of art.
Officine Gullo studied how to technically realise the decoration so that it could remain unchanged over time, despite coexisting with the high temperatures of ovens and hobs. The design is decorated entirely by hand with acrylic paints for Fine Arts and coated with specific protective finishes. The paint is slightly raised to the touch, reminding us all the more how intrinsically art is linked to this project, in which the kitchen lends itself to being an exclusive canvas to be decorated.
