At the upcoming edition of Decorex 2023, Officine Gullo will present its new line of island kitchens dedicated to cooking

Officine Gullo cooking islands are design elements capable of completely redefining a room: “unique pieces” around which the entire kitchen revolves. Characterised by Officine Gullo’s iconic aesthetics and high performance, every island kitchen is designed to be the hub around which family and friends can gather for their daily activities. The place where people cook, eat, relax and come together, from the first cup of coffee in the morning to the last glass of wine in the evening.

Island kitchens can be integrated harmoniously and coherently into a full kitchen restyling project, or they can be easily incorporated into different types of design, from traditional handcrafted wooden kitchens to more modern steel kitchens with an urban look. They can represent an additional stylistic touch for an existing kitchen in need of renewal. Whatever the style of the kitchen, the OG island stands out as a ‘jewel’ with strong visual impact and top-level performance, able to give the space immediate character and uniqueness.

A precise and powerful design element that combines harmonious forms with the most advanced cooking technologies: like luxurious supercars, elegant and purposeful, Officine Gullo cooking islands are characterised by sophisticated design, equipped with a powerful engine that delivers extraordinary professional performance, and can be customised with accessories from a range of top-end cooking elements selected by the client according to their preferred cooking habits.
Alongside the burners or induction hob, the client can in fact place numerous powerful cooking accessories on the top of their island: pasta cookers, steamers, lava-stone barbecues, mirror-finished fry-top plates and much more. An area of the top can be left
free of cooking elements to be dedicated to food preparation and dining.
Depending on its size, the island can be completed with a washing area or a small sink alongside the cooking accessories. Finally, the space underneath offers significant and useful additional pantry volume, as well as housing appliances such as an oven and dishwasher.

The island kitchen is a highly functional object that encourages freedom of movement and makes the space very fluid. Precisely because it is an independent element compared with the rest of the furnishings, it is accessible from every side. This, in addition to making movement easier, translates into a multitude of possible uses. The collection features a range of cooking islands consisting of 5 models of different widths (168, 188, 208, 228, 248 cm). At Decorex, a 248 cm model will be displayed in matt black with gunmetal finishes.

Decorex International  will take place in London, at the Olympia Exhibition Center from 8 to 11 October 2023.

We look forward to seeing you there!
